Spend the Majority of Your Wedding Budget on These Items

If you insist on spending a small fortune on your wedding, you really need to prioritize what you are spending on. Some things are just absolutely ridiculous to spend your money on (custom wedding fabrics and draperies) and some are extremely worthwhile.
Here is my list of things for you wedding that are worth spending money on. ( not particularly in this order )
1) Wedding Photography: This one is the absolute most important item to spend your money on for your wedding. Sure, the wedding can be absolutely gorgeous with beautiful flowers and flowing draperies. You could look lovely and your groom handsome. You might love the fact that all of your family and friends are there to support you. None of this will be remembered as vividly as it could be with wonderful photography.
As i I said before, you don’t want to cheap out on your wedding photographer. You will want to have high quality pictures in every possible pose, location, and emotion and you want it done by an actual professional. But don’t forget, even though you’ll spend a lot of money on this, you can still find ways to cut deals with the photographers. Also, ask for wedding packages for the pictures that will lower the price and skip out on stupid deluxe filly albums. You can make one on your own.
2) Wedding Dress: You are definitely going to want to feel like the most beautiful woman in the world on your wedding day. This is where the dress comes in. Wedding dresses are never typically cheap, but you can find many deals at the outlet stores, companies like David’s Bridal, sales, used dress stores, or especially wedding / tuxedo rental stores. I highly suggest renting. You will save thousands of dollars and what would you have done with that dress after wedding day anyways?
3) Your Honeymoon: Many people might think that less money should be spent on the honeymoon, than the actual wedding, but I think that is ridiculous. I think your wedding should be about you and your significant other enjoying each other and having a wonderful, memorable time together. Spend lots and lots of money on your honeymoon, go somewhere fun, and don’t even consider it part of the wedding budget. Consider it a vacation.
4) Wedding Officiant: It is vital that you are comfortable with the wedding officiant, because the wedding ceremony is themost important and special part of your wedding. If you don’t like the officiant provided by the location, you are certainly allowed to enlist and bring your own. Check their references and make sure that you are happy.
5) The Wedding Location: This is important. You want to have your wedding in a beautiful location where everyone will have a great time and talk about it for a long time to come. This also affects your wedding photos (#1). Spend money on this to ensure your happiness. We are having our in Las Vegas, so we are having to spend a little bit of extra money to pull that off. It is worth it though. If you want to save money, you can choose to have your wedding somewhere cheap or free like at the beach or a park or elsewhere.
What are you spending your wedding budget on? Many grooms-to-be spend a lot of money on beautiful engagement rings, while other couples prefer to save money on their wedding bands and spend more on the reception. Either way, you can get amazing diamond rings at any price.
