Update: Money Earned from our Ebay Sales

Yay! I am so happy I can finally update on the DVDs we have sold on Ebay. Our sales ended on Sunday night and I shipped all but 4 dvds on Monday, and the last 4 dvd payments came in this morning so I shipped the last 4 this morning.

Out of 42 DVDs we sold 17. After envelope costs, shipping costs, and Ebay listing fees we make $60. Not bad for 17 dvds.
The Breakdown:
- $30.20 on dvd sales
- $4×17 dvds made from shipping costs ($68)
- $22.47 in shipping costs (roughly $1.32 per dvd) - I actually used First Class Mail instead of Media Mail and it was cheaper and faster
- $8.40 in Ebay listing fee
- $7.62 in PayPal fees
Amount left: $59.71 (about $60).
I don’t know if I really recommend this, there are soooo many fees involved. Without any of the fees we would have made $98.20. I know that $60 is better then nothing, and it’s even a decent amount for 17 dvds, but the different between $98 and $60 is ridiculous, even when shipping was incredibly cheap. I wonder if it would’ve been cheaper to list everything on Amazon.com. Maybe I do a few trial dvds on there.
In other news, our other Senseo sold, so I will be updating that soon.
