Savings Tip #6: Recycle for Cash

Ok, this savings tip is kind of a gamble on our part. I am basing this tip solely on what I rememeber from when I was a kid. There used to be a recycling center in the middle of our town where you could take all of your soda cans and they would give you cash, based on how many pounds you could provide them. It was like $1.50 per pound or something like that. This would especially work for any of you lucky enough to live in one of those states that you can trade in individual cans or bottles for like 10 cents each! Lucky you!
Well, Lacey and I figured that since we drink a massive amount of diet soda each day, we might as well do two things: save the environment and *cough cough* make some money from the used cans.

Any extra money we might make from this would definitely help, so we feel this is a legitimate tip. Last resort, I can build a Spartan shield and sword out of aluminum if noone wants our cans
