Welcome to our Saving for a Wedding website!
I’m Lacey and my fiance is Tanner. Together we will feature our financial endeavor from the engagement to the honeymoon. We are also going to give some tips to lose those extra pounds before the big day!
For a little background info on us, we live on the east coast of Florida. My family lives entirely in the state of Connecticut. I am a soon-to-be college graduate with a part time job, and Tanner is a masters degree graduate transitioning to a full time job. We own a home and have one car payment (the other is payed off, but will need replacing in a year or two).
Our plan for our wedding is to spend no more then $5,000 in cash for the wedding ceremony, reception, and our honeymoon. We are going to blog our progress as we earn and save the money to have a wedding ceremony in the fabulous Las Vegas. Our ceremony will take place in a gondola in the Venetian. We’re going to double up on the ceremony location, and have our honeymoon right in Vegas. A small reception will also take place at my mother’s house in Connecticut.
