The Plan

The plan is to have our wedding at the Venetian in Las Vegas, a small dinner afterwords, and then a small reception in Connecticut at my mother’s house.

So, in order to pay for the wedding and honeymoon (in Vegas) we are planning to budget for $4,000 leaving us a $1,000 buffer. This means we are willing to pay $5,000 for the wedding, but we want to plan for $4,000 so we do not go over our goal.

We intend to use only cash to pay for the wedding. No credit cards! In order to reach this goal, we have a myriad of financial planning techniques and plans to earn money - more on these techniques later!
